Medicine’s finest development had been the invention of antibiotics that are effective enough in fighting off various infections.
However, over prescription and over used lead to the evolution of such bacteria that they later on turn to a more antibiotic-resistant or worse, scary super-bacteria.
But the good news is, we can make our own antibiotic which is more effective than medical antibiotics, no side effects and epidemiological downside.
3 cups apple cider vinegar
1/4 cup minced garlic
1/4 cup minced onion
2 fresh peppers (the hotter, the better!), cleaned and chopped**
1/4 cup chopped ginger
2 tbsp grated horseradish
2 tbsp turmeric powder or 2 turmeric roots, chopped
Place all the ingredients except the vinegar into a bowl and mix them well. Then transfer to a Mason jar until 2/3 full with dry ingredients and pour in the vinegar until the jar is full. Place it in a cool, dry place to sit for two weeks, remembering to shake it again several times a day.
After the two weeks have passed, press out the liquid through a fine strainer or cheesecloth into another clean container, and here you have it, your cleansing health tonic. Dispose of the dry ingredients in your bio-waste or use for cooking.
To get rid of a cold faster and strengthen your immune system at the same time, gargle with one tbsp of the mix every day. Each day increase the amount by a little, so that after 3 or 4 days you’re using a small glass (e.g. whiskey glass-sized). If you find yourself with a bad flu or other stronger infection, try gargling 5 to 6 times a day with one tbsp of the tonic. You might want to have a slice of citrus fruit handy to suck on afterwards as the taste of the tonic is quite strong.
